Our exceptional educational resources align with provincial curriculum standards and are developed by educators and Earth science experts. Join Us at Mineral Resources Review 2024

This year, Mining Matters is excited to offer educational programming for both elementary and secondary school classes at the Mineral Resources Review 2024, Newfoundland and Labrador’s premier mineral exploration and mining conference and exhibition.

We will invite one elementary class and one high school class, along with their teachers and parent chaperones, to participate in this unique educational event. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with select exhibitors through guided booth visits, gaining hands-on insights into mineral resources. Each student will also receive a customized booklet of discovery questions to enrich their learning experience throughout the conference.

To further enhance their understanding, Mining Matters will deliver a curriculum-aligned workshop on Earth science and mineral resources at each invited school, providing valuable enrichment before or after the event.

Join us in igniting curiosity and passion for geology—let’s explore the wonders of our planet together!
